I wasn’t happy with some of the barns I painted this summer so I decided to cover them with magazines I mix paint on. I also used old magazines a friend gave me that she made several red pen markings and notes throughout highlighting key information. I tore out things that stood out to me as I flipped through. The Sneaky Spirit is leaving a trail of gems for us to find. These hearts represent all the things that pull us in different directions. The darkness is always at work trying to harden our hearts and steal our joy. But there is great power that lives within us all and surrounds us. A light so bright that all the darkness in the world cannot extinguish it. The word of God is transforming hearts and minds which is piercing holes in the darkness. These hearts are scarred up from all the pain and suffering they have endured. Each heart unique from its travels. Once we accept that suffering is apart of this human existence we can embrace the hard times and let it shape us. Leaning into Gods word will strengthen your heart and allow your roots to grow deeper in love.
