Step Into Your Calling

There was a time when I felt trapped—stuck in a cycle I couldn’t break, longing for freedom but unsure how to find it. In 2018, as I painted The Calling, a burning bush for my Exodus exhibit, I didn’t realize how much that story mirrored my own. A few days after the artwork was installed, God pulled me out of my own Egypt—alcohol—one last time.

My pain was never pointless. God has woven every piece of my story into something meaningful, turning trauma into testimony and ashes into beauty. Every pain, every trial, every tear I’ve shed, it all has purpose.

God has taken something that was meant to break me and turned it in to something that builds me. My story isn’t just about pain; it’s about redemption, transformation, and the beauty that comes from trusting Him through it all. God can do the same for you. Just like He did for Moses. God meets us right in the middle of our pain, showing us that even in the middle of the wilderness, He is working.

"Who am I that I should go?" Exodus 3:11

But God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called. Your pain or past hasn't disqualified you; it has prepared you. Just Like Moses, you are stepping out into something bigger than you and God is equipping you every step of the way.

Transformation didn’t happen overnight, but through surrender, prayer, and diving into God’s Word, I have been changing inside. I discovered a rhythm—praying and reading scripture before creating—that opened the door to His presence, His peace, and a renewed purpose.

Maybe you’re standing at your own burning bush, feeling the tug of something greater but unsure how to step forward. Maybe you’ve faced some life changing challenges that put you through the fire, and now it’s time to walk into your calling.

You don’t have to do it alone. Let’s walk out this journey together. Moses didn’t just find freedom for himself, he led an entire generation out of bondage.

I invite you to take a deep dive into your values, strengths, and passions to find out what truly lights you up? Imagine the possibilities for your life, then take bold steps toward making them a reality.

Build unshakable confidence and self-awareness so you can step fully into who you’re meant to be. Break free from limiting beliefs and self-sabotaging patterns that have been holding you back. Navigate the challenges you’re facing with clarity and a fresh perspective. Set meaningful goals—both personally and professionally—and create a plan to achieve them.

Finding Freedom

Life is a beautifully woven tapestry, filled with choices that shape our path. Some lead us into the unknown, requiring creativity, curiosity, and courage to step into the extraordinary. But here’s the truth—everything in our lives is connected. Our gifts, talents, work, family, health, nature, and most of all, our Creator, are meant to exist in harmony, glorifying God in the process. And when we find that balance? There’s a freedom like no other.

I believe that within you is a well of creativity, purpose, and God-given potential waiting to be uncovered. Sometimes, though, things get in the way—doubts, distractions, fear of the unknown. I get it. I’ve been there. But through this journey, I’ve found deep peace, confidence, and an unshakable faith that has completely transformed my life. And I can’t wait to walk alongside you as you step into that transformation for yourself.

Cultivating a mindset of gratitude, ease, flow and abundance will transform every aspect of your life.

So, let me ask you—what lights you up? Or maybe the better question is, what’s holding you back?

Let’s explore it together. Schedule a complimentary call today, and let’s start dreaming, creating, and stepping boldly into what’s possible. Each coaching plan is uniquely designed for you—because your journey is unlike anyone else’s.

"So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
Isaiah 55:11

Transformation, What you see is what you get, Foundation built on prayer

My name is Jennifer Burger and I am the Creative Arts Director at Lutheran Church of Hope.  Renae Zanella came to work at Lutheran Church of Hope in 2017.  During that time I was transitioning to the Creative Arts Ministry from another ministry within the church.  Renae would come down to clean the ministry offices and while she cleaned we would have conversations about God and her art.  Her full story is inspiring and beautiful.

Our Director, at the time, asked if she ever prayed or read scripture while painting.  This question is the foundation on which Renae was built.  Before Renae knew God, her paintings were beautiful yet really dark.  After praying and reading scripture, God used Renae as a vessel to give people a new way to encounter God.  Her transformation was almost overnight in her walk with the Lord and her paintings reflected it.

My favorite part about working with Renae is what you see is what you get.  She’s an honest, hard-working, faithful, and beautiful soul.  She exudes God.  She’s been through the darkest valleys and still praises Him.  I have and would recommend Renae to others because I’ve seen her work and I know how incredible she is inside and outside her art studio.  The Holy Spirit is her guide.  I’ve loved walking beside her and seeing her transformation from a front row seat.

Blend of real, actionable tips with a faith-centered approach

When I started live painting early last year, you were such a big help. You were always so supportive and willing to offer feedback, encouragement, and helpful tips. Your insight, especially with aligning my art with faith, gave me the confidence to keep pushing forward and grow!

I’d absolutely recommend your coaching to others. You blend real, actionable tips with a faith-centered approach that’s rare to find, and I know it can help any artist grow both in their craft and their calling.

Thanks for being such a positive influence—I’m excited to see how God moves through your coaching business and how it impacts others! Always cheering you on, girl.”

Always an Encourager, Unique Style, Fearlessly express it in her works

I met Renae a few years ago in an online creative arts class, through our church.   We did a book and video study, then created art through the inspiration.  We shared our creations online each week. We mostly did small pieces, usually painting.  I could see Renae’s talent, but not until I saw her gallery display at church did I understand just how talented Renae is. We developed a friendship through church, we were in more classes together, did some volunteering together.

Painting was still pretty new to me. I had done a few pieces for the church gallery.   Renae was always an encourager and had my back when I started painting live at holiday services. As I got to know her more, I came to understand her passion for art, the inspiration that continually comes to her for creating.   Renae has her own unique style and is ever ready to fearlessly express it in her works.

She has a big heart for encouraging others to seek out their talent within and find what inspires them.   She tends to believe that we all have creative talents and she is one who loves to nurture that in others.
